The fit of the jacket is slightly bigger, nothing major but my only patagonia piece so no idea if they are all larger than the normal athletic fit of jackets of these types. Might be because it's new and a little stiff but I struggle to make it sit properly when wearing a hard shell over the top. The hood is all but useless unless you are wearing it over a helmet, it is huge. You can sometimes find wind cutting right through but would be perfect if you were working very hard! The breathable material that goes all the way to the end of the sleeves, would rather they stopped mid arm. My only down sides with the jacket are the hood and the sleeves. Lots of adjustments to the body and hood. Polartec wind bloc is a great material that is also nice and stretchy. Warm when you need it to be but also able to keep you cool when you need it.
