She believes that systems change effort that centers equity is needed to transform the education system so that all students, regardless of their background, can achieve success. Her experience as a 2012 Teach For America Corps Member in Bridgeport, Connecticut has enabled her to understand how policies, societal narratives, community support, and leadership can influence the outcomes of youth. In her free time, you can find Bryanna traveling, spending time with family and friends, teaching Ballet, and trying new restaurants in St Louis. After 1 year as the Revolve Community Operations Coordinator, Bry is incredibly excited to transition into the role of the Revolve Community Director and to work alongside Bridget, Dena, Nicole, Derrick, and the wonderful Advisory Board. She has transitioned back to school to obtain her MBA at Washington University in St Louis.Īfter attending the REALITY Revolve journey, she found any and every way to stay involved with the community including planning the 2018 trip reunion alongside Mike Greene and Joe Gallagher, attending two catalysts, and being the logistics lead for the 2019 Harry Potter Catalyst. Bryanna worked as a Recruitment Associate at Historically Black Colleges and Universities for Teach For America.
Prior to TFA, Bryanna received her Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies in Arts Administration from Georgia State University. She was a 2016 Metro Atlanta Teach For America alumna and attended the REALITY Revolve journey in 2018. Bryanna (she/her + commonly referred to as Bry) is a native of Washington, DC and was raised in Decatur, GA.
